Remember that you can only normally claim your benefits from your 60th birthday.

However, if you fall ill, your deferred benefits can be paid from any age. You need to apply in writing to your former employer, and they will arrange for you to attend a medical. You can contact us to find out the address of your former employer, but we will only be able to pay your benefits earlier if your employer tells us to.
