Claiming your pension

To claim your pension:

Tell your employer you wish to retire.

They will give you a booklet called A guide to retirement which contains a claim form.

Fill this form in and send it to your Human Resources department or your employer's pensions officer.

Remember:
  • We can’t pay your pension until we get your claim form; and

  • it’s very important that you fill in your bank or building society details accurately. If you are not sure about any of the details, ask your bank or building society to help you.

Your employer will send us all the documents we need about your retirement.
