Buying back lost pension

Introduction

When you are absent from work and you are receiving no pay (except if you are off due to sickness) you won’t pay pension contributions for that period. You can buy back the lost pension by paying additional pension contributions (APCs).

  • Sickness or injury

  • Maternity, Paternity, Adoption Leave
